Join us in conversation with Mostafa, Abdul and Nirma, three refugees from Iran, Ghana and Sri Lanka. They will share their beautiful and yet painful stories of success and suffering in Australia.
Their rich experiences and stories, from hardworking plumber Mostafa raising a newly formed family, to fighting fires with Wildfire Firefighter Abdul who also owns a barbershop in Collingwood, to cooking up grand feasts at Brunswick's Tamil Feasts with restaurant chef Nirma.
Mostafa will also share his love of music and will delight us by playing the Iranian flute, Ney.
Light refreshments will be provided by ASRC Catering.
