The Welcome Dinner Project is celebrating diversity on the Central Coast
Do you love trying new food and meeting new people?
Are you new to Australia and want to meet more local people OR are you a local who wants to welcome newcomers to the area?
The Welcome Dinner Project will celebrate Refugee Week on the Central Coast through food and connection. This special event will be an opportunity to spend time with people in your neighbourhood, share stories and learn about other cultures in a meaningful and fun way.

Location: Newcastle Uni Central Coast Campus, Fine Art Building. 10 Chittaway Road, Ourimbah 2258
What to bring: A plate of food from your culture or that has a story.
This is an alcohol-free event. Cold drinks will be provided but the food is provided by YOU!
This Community Welcome Lunch is a collaboration between The Welcome Dinner Project, The University of Newcastle Central Coast and Central Coast Council. It will be facilitated by Welcome Dinner Project volunteers.
