Live music and poetry evening

ACE Open welcomes one and all to an intimate evening of live music, spoken word and poetry, inspired by our current exhibition, Daydreamer Wolf, by Afghani-born artist and award-winning poet, Elyas Alavi.

Held on World Refugee Day, this event offers performers and guests with an opportunity to collectively celebrate the contribution that refugees and migrants make to our community. With an emphasis on the themes of community, place, migration and identity, this program is a unique opportunity to reflect on what makes somewhere ‘home’.

This event is held as part of Refugee Week celebrations that take place nationally from 16-22 June. Light refreshments will be provided.
