Refugee Week Schools Programme at the Australian National Maritime Museum

This Refugee Week, bring your students to the National Maritime Museum for a comprehensive and curriculum aligned Refugee Week - World of Stories immersive experience.
Programme includes:
New Human Rights Tour (60 mins) - build a critical understanding of human rights and responsibilities through a highlights tour of the hidden histories in the museum (including a visit the Vietnamese Refugee Boat, Tu Do) 
Australian Migration Stories - Documents and Dialogue (60 mins) - oral history and object handling workshop
Refugee Led Textile Workshop (60 mins) - learn how to make an Afghan tapestry with our artist in residence, Sayd Abdali
